Modern Village LLC ("Modern Village," "we," "us," or "our") is a California limited liability company that provides an AI-powered behavioral support platform for parents and families of children with autism, ADHD, and other behavioral challenges. Our Platform includes an AI coaching tool, connections to board certified behavior analysts ("Providers"), a parent community, and educational resources.
The Platform does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The AI Coach is an educational tool that provides behavioral strategies rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. All AI-generated content is reviewed for clinical accuracy by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), but it is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment from a qualified healthcare provider.
Always seek the advice of your child's physician, psychologist, or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition or behavioral concern. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read or received through the Platform.

To access certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You agree to:
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Platform. The Platform is designed for use by parents, guardians, and caregivers of children — not by children directly.
Users access the Platform to receive AI coaching, book sessions with Providers, participate in the community, track behaviors, and access educational resources. Users may create profiles for one or more children.
Providers are independent, board certified behavior analysts, licensed professional counselors, or other qualified professionals who offer services through the Platform. Providers are not employees or agents of Modern Village. Modern Village facilitates the connection between Users and Providers but does not provide clinical services directly.
The Platform offers both free and paid features:
Subscription fees are billed monthly. You may cancel your subscription at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. No refunds will be issued for partial billing periods.
Provider sessions are conducted via HIPAA-compliant video through our telehealth partner (Doxy.me). By booking a Provider session, you acknowledge:
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged the full session fee.
The AI Coach uses artificial intelligence (Claude by Anthropic) to generate behavioral strategy recommendations. You understand and acknowledge that:
The parent community is a moderated space. By participating, you agree to:
We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate community guidelines, at our sole discretion.
The Platform, including its design, text, graphics, logos, icons, software, and all other content, is owned by Modern Village LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any Platform content without our written permission.
Content you create (community posts, behavior logs, child profiles) remains your property, but you grant Modern Village a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and store this content as necessary to provide the Platform services.
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information and your children's information.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MODERN VILLAGE LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.
MODERN VILLAGE'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO MODERN VILLAGE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Modern Village LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including limitations of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution) shall survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in Los Angeles County, California.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Platform and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
